PetSafe Stay + Play Wireless Fence is a portable completely wireless fence that can be used to create a circular expandable boundary of between 22-105 feet in all directions and up to 210 feet in diameter. It’s a rechargeable system that only takes 3 hours to charge and can last up to 3 weeks from one charge. It can be set up in as little as 1-2 hours and is small enough to take with you when travelling with your pet.

Simple set up

Set up is simple and easy, plug the transmitter into an electrical outlet near to where you wish to contain your dog and place the transmitter in the center of the play area. To help your pet become accustomed to the PetSafe Stay + Play Wireless Fence it’s a good idea to use visual aids such as flags while training them. The lightweight, waterproof dog collar that works in conjunction with the fence can be placed alongside your dog’s regular collar and as they approach the boundary they receive a warning tone. If your dog continues towards the boundary fence they will receive a safe static correction that signals them to return to the center of the area.

Collar Size

The ergonomically designed collar has five static levels and an option for tone only so you can decide which is the most suitable for your pet. The collar is for pets weighing more than 5 pounds and for neck sizes of 6-28 inches, it also includes short and long contact points for dogs with long or short hair.

Summary

Overall it is an excellent product that really gives you piece of mind when your dog is playing outside. It was simple to set up and the diameter can be adjusted at the turn of a knob. It didn’t take long for my dog to learn that he shouldn’t cross the boundary and I now have the collar set to the lowest static level. I even bought another spare collar for when my friend brings their dog around so they can play together safely outside. The only negative is the battery life has begun to reduce after 6 months of use which means I am having to charge it more often. I would recommend this product to other dog owners.
